It often happens that you need a particular cable to transmit the video signal between monitor, TV, smart TV, MacBook or laptop by brands such as Apple, Samsung, Huawei, Lenovo, HP, ASUS and many others. There are many types of video cables, all with their own specific features. Let's work together to understand which type of cable you need and which one is the best according to your needs. Ekon offers a wide range of cables dedicated to your video connections and you're sure to find what you're looking for.
HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is certainly the most widespread standard. It's actually found in many laptops, smart TVs, TVs and monitors by brands such as Toshiba, LG, Samsung, Philips, Panasonic and many more. Ekon has many types of HDMI cables with a very wide range of characteristics. One of the commonalities between Ekon HDMI cables is the presence of anti-bend protection, which makes them also suitable for difficult connections in tight places and corners. You'll find cables with 1.4, 2.0, 2.1 standards, which mainly differ in the maximum resolution supported. An HDMI cable v. 1.4 will support a maximum resolution in Full HD (1080p), an HDMI v. 2.0 will transmit the video signal up to 4K, while the HDMI v. 2.1 is also perfect for 8K transmissions.
You'll notice that the connectors can be metallic or gilded: the latter ensure high signal stability, as well as greater long-term resistance. You'll also find 1 metre HDMI cables as well as cables HDMI 10 metres long, as Ekon seeks to adapt its cables for both home and professional use. You can also find HDMI cables with special designs to meet a wide range of needs such as, for example, cables with 90° connectors, HDMI cables made of fabric or cables with a design dish. If you have two devices with different ports there are also HDMI cables with a DisplayPort, Mini DisplayPort or Micro-HDMI connector or with a female HDMI connector (the latter are designed to extend your compatible cables).

You'll also find DisplayPort and Mini DisplayPort cables designed to connect devices with an HDMI socket. The Ekon VGA cables are 1.5 and 3 metres long, making them suitable for every need. The double shielding ensures stable and high quality transmission. Ekon's VGA and DisplayPort cables also have anti-bend protection and are pleasant to the touch thanks to their softness.

RCA and Scart cables can be used to connect many devices and, in particular, to connect VHS, VCRs, DVDs and consoles to your TV. Ekon's RCA cables are distinguished by 3 multicoloured connectors which help to connect them precisely to a Panasonic, Sony, Samsung, LG, Hisense or Philips TV and many other brands. They are 1.5 or 3 metres in length. These cables are soft and durable thanks to the PVC coating. The Scart cables with 21 pins from Ekon stand out as they measure 1.5 metres in length, making them ideal for connecting TVs, VHS or decoders not too far from each other. If you need to connect a device with Scart port to one with RCA ports, choose the Scart – RCA cable.

Sometimes we don't have the right cable at home and we struggle to find what we need. When this happens you can try looking for an adapter. Ekon has a category dedicated totally to video cable adapters. There really is every kind: HDMI adapters for VGA and DisplayPort cables, DVI-I and DVI-D adapters and even Scart adapters for RCA cables. But if you want to transmit the video signal to multiple devices using a single cable, choose the splitter adapters. You can mainly find splitters for Scart or HDMI. The HDMI or RCA extension cables also allow you to connect two cables together and use them as a single long cable. Also in the case of adapters, you'll find some with gold connectors.
